I love painting my hometown even though I haven't lived there for many years now. This one is of a scene in Grant Park. General (President) Grant still watches over his town.

I find waterfalls to be one of the more difficult things to paint realistically. I have been experimenting with various techniques...though never completely satisfied I liked the way this turned out.
